This Safe Food Handling Information Session will cover a range of topics including:
- Foodborne illness with case histories
- Personal Hygiene
- Pest Control
- Cleaning and Sanitising
- Legal Responsibilities
- Temperature Control and Records
- Food Storage and Display
- Cross Contamination
- Food Safety Programs
These interactive information sessions involve a slide show presentation, hand washing exercise, an assessment and a group discussion.
Everyone who attends will receive a resource folder which contains food safety pamphlets, posters and other items.
This session is most suitable for: casuals, part-time staff and volunteers.
